As a matter of fact, the summer months until the golden autumn are the most requested for bookings in this region. What a pity, because during the winter period from November till March the winegrowers do have much more time for wine tastings and presentations. It`s as well much easier for you to find a place in one of the cosy gourmet-restaurants without having reserved in advance. The picturesque golf course "Köhlerhof" is open throughout the year.
Due to the Mediterraneum-like climate of the Ahr yield, hiking is great fun during the cold months as well as in spring.
